With the ongoing situation with the Coronavirus, there has been a devastating impact on the fishing industry here in the Shonai Region. With hotels no longer ordering fish and restaurants switching over to take out bento orders, fishermen are left with no market to sell their fish.
To address this issue, Chef Suda is starting up a video series where he hopes to show people how they can make simple and delicious dishes with the high quality fish of the Shonai Region. These fish can be bought very cheaply in supermarkets and with just a little preparation can be made in to healthy and vibrant dishes perfect for home cooks.
